The Canroon high power density vector VFD variable frequency drive packs heavy duty motor control into a compact cabinet footprint, making it the preferred choice for space constrained plants that still demand serious torque. Engineered around speed sensorless vector control, this 500KW heavy duty drive produces up to 150 percent of rated torque at 0.5Hz, so it starts and accelerates high inertia loads such as crushers, mixers, cranes and large compressors without stalling. The wide output voltage range, extending from 0 to 480V, together with a 0 to 300Hz standard frequency band and an optional high frequency mode to 3000Hz, gives engineers the flexibility to match almost any three phase induction motor. Dual RS485 and CANBUS interfaces, a built in PID controller and a clear LED plus LCD display turn commissioning and daily operation into a straightforward task.
